Blogging 101, getting ready to go.

With just over a month to go, I realize I have to get serious about all the small bits and pieces necessary to be ready.  I've got the big things done, airfare, hotel room, and getting back home after the ride, but now all the small things like getting a second bike chain ready to go, packing the bike two weeks before the ride, deciding what stays and what goes (hopefully what goes includes me), and setting up a blog, which is the reason for this post.  Just making sure the dang thing works before I spend all of my trip writing and finding out it went into cyberspace, on some cloud, in the cosmos, with no way to read it.
